Hi,
Just curious. In your poll, you questioned whether Florida and Ohio's votes should be counted. I thought it was Florida and Michigan or are they having problems in the Ohio voting that I wasn't aware of.
Glen, another great survey! And, no, I don't sit at my computer waiting for the next survey to come out.
The voters of Florida and Ohio need some way to save face. The state parties screwed up, not the voters. However, counting their primary votes is not a valid option. Only Hillary campaigned in Florida. Obama and Edwards took their names off the Ohio ballot (and presumably did not campaign). There is no way that the current votes would be valid for a fair fight.
Although it is somewhat of a token gesture, it would be appropriate to split the elected delegates down the middle so that the total votes would be the same. Hopefully, the super (non-elected) delegates will vote their conscience, and not based on all the bribes they are getting from both sides.
Missed it by that much...
Thanks Sheilah for catching that. I have corrected the poll with Florida and Michigan.
Ohio is off the hook - for now.
Glen
Michigan or Ohio?
Hi Sheilah,
You are correct. I was thinking how the Republicans stole Ohio in 2004 and my mind disconnected for a moment. Thanks for catching that.
