Be advised that we were mis-informed reagarding a recent question about the legitimacy of canvassers identifying themselves as representing the Democratic National Committee (DNC). We have been advised that they are indeed legitimate, have been on the ground for a few months in Washington and Multnomah counties, and will be working all summer. They should indicate, if asked, that they work for "Grassroots Campaigns". If anyone is suspicious, they can call 503-232-9500 - the local Grassroots Campaigns office, to confirm the identity of the canvasser.
